How do we do it?
Screen printing dates back a thousand years and was used to decorate walls, floors, ceilings, pottery and fabrics.
The ink is printed directly on to the glass bottle creating a unique and elegant design.
The ink is printed through a screen which consists of an aluminium frame with polyester mesh stretched over it.
A thick even print is created by forcing the ink through a photographically treated mesh (the stencil).
Special epoxy ink (made in Australia) is used for its superior adhesion properties. The print is allowed to air dry for 7 days before it becomes fully cured. The printed glass bottle then becomes water resistant and can also be refrigerated.
We have a collection of clip art graphics and fonts that can be used to enhance your design.
Photos cannot be reproduced because of the limitations of the screen printing process
During the printing process the bottles contents are not subjected to any kind of heat or extreme temperatures.
Although the print is durable and dishwasher safe, it is not indestructible. Some care is required when washing or cleaning the glass wine bottles for reuse.
